A lot of clients ask when we meet is how did I get started in web design and what introduced me to this industry. My answer is always the same. I started with MySpace. I always had a nitch for computers, but something happened to me when I started reading the HTML code that changes the background and colors of your personal MySpace profile. After seeing that I was intrigued, I wanted to learn more I had to learn more.
At the age of 19 I was helping other people start business by gathering articles of incorporation and trademarks and much much more, so I had a great business sense already of how to start a business. Now it was time to start my own.
I’m originally from Detroit and I saw a great opportunity to grow my new web design business in Atlanta so in October of 2009 I packed my computer and went to Atlanta to start my company.
It has been a great ride. The original name of my company was revolutionary designs and as time went on I said I have to change that. Then the Name Ralph Walker Designs popped up in my head and the reason is because a lot of my clients felt there was a void in the personal touch between them and the web developer also known as the web master. With naming my company Ralph walker people assume that the company is just 1 person, but it’s not, there’s a team of 3 that make our clients vision come to life. I love people, I love helping people and nothing makes me more happy than a client who consistently uses their website as tool to help grow their business.
Im a sneaker head I love sneakers. That’s what I do in my past time. Collecting sneakers and finding new technology are my things. Really geeky huh? I know right but it’s ok. I promise I won’t wear any sneakers to a meeting nor will anyone from our team. I love meeting new people and will love to meet you.
